Ellie Can Smile!

We didn't think it was possible to catch one of Ellie's rare smiles on camera, but we did it!  Poor little girl has a hard life and is usually frowning, but she must have been feeling good after throwing up her entire breakfast on me.  I wasn't feeling very charitable, especially after staying up until 1:00 this morning and then getting up again at 5:30, but she redeemed herself.

Sea World

We have been enjoying our Sea World Pass this summer, and Molly goes nuts when she hears the word "seal."  It has been so hot at our house the past several weeks, so we pack up and head for the water.  Pop corn, cotton candy and raw fish are on the menu.  It's always just the perfect evening to chase the birds and see Shamu.  To Molly, the world is just a big huge selection of friends.  The little kids in the Play Land just stare at her when she tries to hug them.  She still doesn't know what to make out of the Shamu show but she loves the dog and cat show.  Ellie couldn't care less.

Hello Everyone!

Greetings from sunny San Diego.  I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing with this blog, so please bear with me as I work out the kinks.  My goal is to show off my girls, so here's hoping that you are all very impressed.  Summer is almost over and so much has happened in these few short months and I don't know where to begin.  June 29th marked the first day of the rest of our lives and Ellie is, by all appearances, surviving us. Baby #2 in any family must have a much more difficult life than Baby #1.  No sterile bottles, no perfectly decorated nursery, no quiet nap times, no bonding time with Mommy, no new clothes.  There's just no time for any of those luxuries.  Now it's all about the swing (aka Baby Neglecter) and formula.  Sorry, Ellie!  You know I love you, my little girl.
